Another Atta Girl poster! This was for the 18th August clubnight. We’ve started having two girls a poster of late this is in celebration of working with a lovely team of DJs now! The posters are probably always going to have more than one grrrl on the poster in the future. There’s also a heavy necklace theme going on as we treated ourselves to Tatty Devine necklaces this month!
There’s a Love Heart in her mouth that she’s grimacing about, it says “All Mine” on it. I guess it was just a little rejection of the obsessive behaviour towards relationships that teenage girls are led to believe is healthy. The older I’ve gotten the more I’ve realised that that was SO NOT healthy. Looking after yourself and being happy in who you are, not an obsessive “need” for another human being, that is what leads to sanity. Not the adrenaline infused love note writing and faux connection with other humans. Down with drama, up with happy times! In short, we don’t need Love Heart sweets to connect, but I’m not boycotting them, they still taste good! *crunches another heart*
