I absolutely loved this commission. Fortuna POP! Gave me free range other than the text required.
Evans The Death (band) got their name from Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas. Evans The Death, the undertaker who dreams of his childhood.
I took the image of undertaker, the black hat and darkness and merged it into the image of childhood and innocence. Taking the whiteness of Katherine Whitaker’s -the lead singer- hair to signify snow and a transition into dream where the cherry blossoms are the opposite of the skull images above.
From death to indiepop dreams!
