Public Forum – Istanbul
The public forum offers an open series of spaces for public use, N.G.Os and local collectives/ organisations to meet and create. As Istanbul joins the European Union this message of transparency and freedom of speech is articulated through the vertical design. There are no visibly closed spaces, rather a succession of thought inducing and enabling areas.
From the entrance suspended over the exhibition hall, providing a sense of the inidividual; to the ever changing projected facade on the West elevation that sits in direct conversation with the Municipal Government Offices.
